Gospel Radio Submission for 41st Annual Stellar Awards 2026 

The Stellar Awards Gospel Radio Stations, Shows and Announcer of the Year Awards is designed to award those that are spreading the ‘good news’ and presenting great Gospel music to national/syndicated audiences via airwaves or internet streaming. We have updated our rules and regulations, and these changes supersede all previous eligibility requirements. Submissions will be accepted until March 13, 2026. Please complete the online entry form below for your particular section ONLY. The eligibility period covers terrestrial and internet stations and Gospel radio shows that were fully operational and, on the air, or broadcasting online for the ENTIRE duration between March 1, 2025 – February 28, 2026.

Quick Reference for 2026 Rules and Regulations Changes:

• There will be ONE ROUND of VOTING for the Gospel Radio Categories. This will be during the SECOND ROUND ONLY.

• The Gospel Radio Ballot will be available for public (fan) voting AND SAGMA member voting

• The SAGMA member vote will be weighted at 5 points each and combined with the public votes to determine the nominees and winner

The largest 70 DMA markets in the USA are considered Top Markets. The Stellar Awards defines terrestrial Gospel Radio Stations as a station that programs Gospel music and associated content a minimum of 75% of its broadcast week. Category 2 Medium Market of the Year
The DMA markets ranked 71 - 109 in the USA are considered Medium Markets. The Stellar Awards defines terrestrial Gospel Radio Stations as a station that programs Gospel music and associated content a minimum of 75% of its broadcast week. Category 3 Small Market of the Year
The DMA markets ranked 110+ in the USA are considered Small Markets. The Stellar Awards defines terrestrial Gospel Radio Stations as a station that programs Gospel music and associated content a minimum of 75% of its broadcast week.Category Category 4 Internet Station of the Year
The Stellar Awards defines Internet Gospel Radio Stations as a station NOT associated with a corresponding terrestrial radio station or radio network. Internet stations are independent, individually owned, and operated entities. The sole means of delivery MUST be via the internet. Category 5 Syndicated Gospel Radio Show of the Year
The Stellar Awards defines a Syndicated Gospel Radio Show as programming produced for play on a minimum of ten terrestrial (10) radio stations. The show is not exclusive to one radio station. The show should broadcast a minimum of five (5) days per week and programs Gospel music and associated content a minimum of 75% of its broadcast week. Syndicated gospel radio shows should demonstrate originality and provide a local sound.
