Gospel Announcer of the year 2026

Submissions are now being accepted for consideration for the 2026 Gospel Announcer of the Year. All entrants must be a member of the Stellar Awards Gospel Music Academy ("SAGMA"). Additionally, you must have been broadcasting during the period of March 1, 2025 – February 28, 2026 in order to be considered.

A confidential Review committee made up of music industry experts in various fields meet to insure all entries meet the eligibility criteria and have been ON THE AIR during the eligibility period, and are appropriate for the Stellar Awards. The Review Committee reserves the right to remove a submission from consideration If it is determined that the submission is ineligible.

The Stellar Awards defines a Gospel Radio Announcer as someone with their own show broadcast via a terrestrial Gospel Radio Station, of which that station programs Gospel music and associated content a minimum of 75% of its broadcast week.

Someone who has consistent on-air presence on gospel music radio.
Well-known through his/her presence on-air.
Announcer should possess audience appeal through personality and or specific service of the respective show.
Announcer has organized, administered or performed significant and or recognized
community service.
